Montpelier Tomorrow by Marylee MacDonald

I was recently given an opportunity to read this novel in exchange for an honest review,by the author,Marylee MacDonald. Upon first watching the book trailer my automatic reaction was that it looked like a pretty good book. I was so wrong. This is an amazing novel!
When most people think of the disease ALS,
I'm sure they think about the ice bucket challenge videos that were supposed to raise awareness for it. This novel goes a lot deeper than those videos. No,it doesn't tell every detail about ALS. You do ,however, have more of an understanding of the toll it takes on the individual and the loved ones. That's only one of the issues surrounding this family. There are many twists that I didn't expect & the main character,Colleen,is such a wonderful character. I don't want to go into detail because I don't want to ruin the novel. I will say that it is one of the best books I've read in a long time. I am posting the link for the book trailer below,along with a link to buy.

Smarty Pants Supplies Best Premium Zester Grater review

I received the Smarty Pants Supplies Best Premium Zester Grater free of charge in exchange for an honest review via Tomoson. This is a surprising product for me. Most zesters I've had created a huge mess & were awful to clean. This one,however,is the complete opposite! It's super easy to use. In fact,it's so easy my 8 year old wanted to help so I let him try it & had no problems. There wasn't a huge mess everywhere afterwards either which is another great thing about it! As for washing it,I ran it under my faucet & wiped it off with a soapy dish rag. That's all it took! It's hassle free! Why not try it for yourself?

Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker. Is it worth it?

Okay so this one was actually purchased for my son when my son was about 7 weeks old. We had made the decision that we needed something to put him in so he could sit up rather than lay down all the time. Of course,there were some things that we researched before making a final decision.
-Was the price reasonable?
-Did we want a rocker or a bouncer?
-What were the features?
-What was the weight limit?
The questions above were the things we focused on the most. The price of it was great! I really did not see paying more for something that only supports up to 20 pounds when this rocker supports up to 40 pounds. Bouncers tend to not last as long so we knew we needed a rocker. Which rocker to pick? Being a mother of 3 other children,I wanted to go with a brand I trusted. I have never had any problems out of Fisher Price products so we looked there.We found this & it had a kick stand,vibration & a little toy bar with toys hanging from it,the elephant in the middle plays a little tune & my son loves it. On nights he fights sleep I can put him in it,turn on the vibration & rock him...he's usually asleep in a matter of minutes. So to answer the question,I think it is definitely worth what we paid for it. All parents need something like this in my opinion. If you know someone with a little one or one on the way,this would be a perfect gift! I don't know what I'd do without mine!

Product Review-Guayakí Brand Yerba Mate tea

I have to be honest,I always said I would never try hot tea. However,after trying this brand,I am hooked! Their Chai is so delicious! It was perfect for the cold weather I've been having lately. It relaxed me & woke me up at the same time. That's never happened before. I will absolutely be buying this in the near future. I highly recommend this to all of you reading my blog! Product Review- Vick's Sweet Dreams Cool Mist Humidifier (Influenster)

Influenster sent me this complimentary Vick's Sweet Dreams Cool Mist Humidifier to test & review.  I tried it out last night for the first time. With 2 of my kids beginning to get a cold,it couldn't have came at a better time! I set it up for them last night & neither one of them woke up coughing! It's so easy to fill with water & you can put a Vick's Vapopad, or 2, in the little side door if you want. My favorite thing about this humidifier is the projections! They're so neat & the pictures are so clear! It has stars,safari & ocean life projections. I have a picture of the stars & safari above. The kids love the humidifier & so do I! A must for the fall & winter seasons!

Product Review- Artisana Organics Nut Butters

Artisana Organics sent me 4 squeeze packets. I received walnut butter,pecan butter,almond butter & cashew butter. Not only did I try them,so did my children! A couple of them are very picky & try to find something wrong with everything. However,all 5 kids loved every one of these,it's not very often that happens so I'm very excited about this one!
